Our story
I spent the past nine years building StrongDM, the most convenient and secure way for developers to access databases. After working with thousands of Engineering teams, it became clear that even though the cloud made any database easy to deploy, the expertise required to operate at scale isn’t solved simply by tools like Terraform.
Every team inevitably experienced performance issues, but not every team had DBAs in-house. Often, they turned to our support team for advice. That experience inspired me to think, what if every team could access world-class DBAs for on-demand advice?
